Local area
The Yealm is one of the most significant boutique developments along the southern coast of the UK, overlooking the serene natural harbour of the twin villages of Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo, Devon, a delightful and popular yachting destination. The local area of Newton and Noss contains many walks and access to nearby beaches, as well as events for the local community. The following pages are extracts from our River Life magazine, a celebration of the villages.

Ecology & Conservation
From hidden oysters and razor shells, to the flight of an osprey, inside the river and estuary of the Yealm there’s a generous score of wildlife and sealife to discover when you look hard enough.
Local beaches
Devon is spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches, with South Devon being particularly blessed. And along the South West Coast Path, we have a handful that will take your breath away.
The walks
If you enjoy a walk or a stroll, then the parish of Newton and Noss presents some 21 miles of county road, and in excess of 60 footpaths (some definitive and some permissive).
